EFFIE/THE BEST BRAND is a national Award annually honoring the major outstanding achievements in the brand value building on the Russian market. It is the only national award presented to recognize the year's most effective campaigns in creation, management and building of a brand.

EFFIE/THE BEST BRAND demonstrates the advertising ability to meet marketing objectives and its crucial role in marketing. It focuses on effective marketing communications and places emphasis on what is really important - marketplace performance.

"The Best Brand" Award is hold from 1998 and since 2001 it represents the EFFIE Award in Russia, which now is hold in 33 countries all over the world.

Therefore EFFIE/THE BEST BRAND honors the major outstanding achievements in brand building on the Russian market according to the highest international criteria.

As it was underlined in the speech of Mr. Gref, the Ministry of Economic and Trade Development of Russian Federation:"During the recent 7 years the Award exists in Russia the word 'brand' has become a real value for companies oriented on market leadership and on long-term business development. The Award's authority has been established as a real symbol of business reputation won by companies on the market, among consumers and in business community".

Since 1981, when EFFIE first crossed national borders and began honoring effective advertising in Germany, the EFFIE program has been on a roll. This is happening in concert with the globalization of the advertising industry itself. EFFIE today represents the pinnacle in advertising effectiveness. It is presented in recognition of the year’s most effective advertising campaigns – campaigns that have delivered superior results in meeting the objectives they were designed to achieve. Since 2001 the EFFIE Award is represented in Russia, and is hold in 33 counties all over the world. In country after country, the EFFIE name is gaining prestige and becoming THE award to win. No other advertising award is so widely recognized – and so coveted – in so many places. It’s the award that clients care about most because to win an EFFIE a campaign must meet the advertiser’s goals. And that means successfully combining all the disciplines that enter into a marketing program: planning, market research, creative, media and account management. Like the brands and agencies that proudly display their Gold, Silver and Bronze EFFIEs, the award is both broadly international while indigenous to each market.

The Entertaining Awarding Gala is a remarkable event of the business life in Russia and annually attracts leaders of the most successful foreign and Russian companies. This year about 1000 VIP-guests are supposed to participate in the Awarding Dinner. All business media pay a great attention to the Award. Importance of development of the competitive marketing economy in Russia attracts attention of the Government Officials to the Award. Mr. Gref, the Ministry of Economic and Trading Development Russian Federation became the Honorary President of the Award. Mr. Primakov, President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is also supposed to participate in the awarding.
